About Me

Hi I'm Shirin! I am the head baker and owner of The Sweet Spot Toronto! I started this company back in 2015 with the hopes of making my childhood dream come true. As a kid, I loved going to bakeries and seeing the wonderful creations that were being made. I always wanted to be like Buddy from Cake Boss!

Fast forward a few years, I started baking and designing cakes and cupcakes during my undergraduate degree at Western University. Baking really helped calm me down during stressful peaks in my life. Baking also brought other peaks in my life, like seeing my friends faces light up when I surprised them with a cupcake or slice of cake during exam season. This was just the tip of the piping bag! I knew at that point I was destined to make cakes!
